Originally a petrol station near Bristol airport, the hardworking couple started to do mechanical repairs to cars, tractors and trucks in their single bay where they could fit just 2 cars at the same time.
Wendy, Nigel's mum, joined the business when she left school. With her husband Donald, a builder by trade, they took over her parent's business and were later joined by their son Nigel, who started the tyre part of the business.
Since then the business has never stopped growing. The business moved from its original smaller site to bigger premises in Nailsea, in 2006. With space to accommodate four vehicles simultaneously and storage space for the first time, the tyre business really took off. The link with the Airport has never broken though and we are still proud to maintain customers in that area. You can regularly see our vans in and around the whole of Chew Valley and even airside at the Airport.
